Is technology easy for everyone but me? I try but most of the time I think I am going backwords. I am not afraid of trying but I do get frustrated sometimes. I do get an "A" for effort right?
I think technology can be stressful at times because the required amount of knowledge needed to work them. I think you have done a great job so far with your tech skills. Good luck with your future technology endeavors.
I think technology can be super intimidating! It changes rapidly, and when one masters one type of technology, it becomes irrelevant. However, I agree with Susan. It is one step at a time, one precept after another, one line upon the next. Don't lose heart - we are all in it together.
The nice thing about technology is it's becoming so intuitive. If you don't know how to do something, don't sweat it, the answer will make sense and will probably be easy to remember once you find it.
I also feel like I am going backwards, and frankly I keep going backwards till all of the sudden I get it and jump forward again. Just to start over on my backward slope till I make the forward jump. Just keep trying...you got a blog up! Who's to say you can't do the rest of it? I have a feeling you'll get it and really be just fine. I give you an 'A' for effort.
I am definitely intimidated by technology and the fast pace in which its changing. But everyone has a different pace to learn it I figured I should take my time and do things at my own pace and its been working specially with technology. So you're fine :)
You can do it Tracy! I agree that there is a lot more information out there on how to use certian technologies so people who have trouble using different technologies have a chance!
Tracy, my dad resisted technology for years and refused to learn anything beyond how to program a VCR. In his late 50's he was forced to learn computer skills for work (he was also a teacher) and once it sunk in he actually became quite proficient and even started teaching me a few things. Don't give up. It'll sink in. The fact that you've already created such a nice blog is proof that you have it in you!
Keep going Tracy. No one is perfect at this. It is just a piece of the pie.

ReplyDeleteTechnology can be a bit overwhelming, but don't worry. In high school all of the kids will know how to work everything anyways.
